Meh. I can’t say I was wildly excited about it….it reminds me a bit of ”Zeg ‘ns Aaaa” which was a Dutch TV series in the 80′s.
It was nice and sort of strange to see the neighbourhood though, the street I’d just walked through and all

LOL, it’s cloudy, thunderstorms expected! I forgot to tell you about the weather yesterday…what a change! It’s not scorching hot, which is a relief, that would have been difficult to handle so soon after almost freezing my butt off in Amsterdam. I had expected it to be much hotter though.

Art in the streets

Saw this guy selling paintings on my way to the restaurant last night. It’s quite a trendy/artsy area. The restaurant is on 7th Street, and it’s the location for a daily soap opera in Afrikaans called 7de Laan. I’m going to try and watch it this evening

The restaurant was great. I had a delicious pizza and if I’m not miscalculating it cost about 3 Euros.

OK lemme get my ass into gear. I want to go to Melville Koppies today, which is a nature reserve. In the middle of the city. Weird.
